Assistant Head of House

Salary Scale D – £16,466 to £16,539 per annum (£19,312 to £19,698 full time equivalent per annum) 

Full time, permanent 

Term time plus one week  (39 weeks) 

Start date: September 2021 

We are seeking a dynamic, reliable and responsible person to join us as Assistant Head of House. The role holder will have a visible presence around Hewett Academy, reinforcing our school expectations and standards.

You will have experience of either teaching or having experience in another relevant learning environment, and will have the ability to work consistently, prioritise, and delegate appropriately, as well as clear and sensitive communication skills. 

We believe that all students should be able to achieve the best outcomes, regardless of their backgrounds and that this happens through high standards of teaching and provision. You will share this view and understand the importance of this, alongside supporting our high expectations of student behaviour.

The role will involve providing the highest standards of pastoral care, supporting students and working with parents, families and stakeholders to ensure all Hewett Academy students have the best possible chances to achieve their full potential.
