Sheringham Woodfields School are seeking a reliable, dynamic and responsible person to join our team as Assistant Site Manager to support the school in the delivery of high quality site management and associated support. You will be line managed by the Site Manager and work in conjunction with the Site Team to ensure the needs of the school are met.

This is a new post created at a time when the school continues to grow both in pupil numbers and buildings/assets to maintain. The role will be varied and will involve keyholder duties and being available out of hours for emergencies and/or lettings. As you will see from our avaialble vacancies, we have 2 assistant site manager posts available at present – both at different hours. This is for 22 hours per week, all year round.

You will join a team that includes a Site Manager, experienced House Keeper and Groundsman and an excellent in-house cleaning team.

Full training, induction and support will be given throughout the Autumn Term as you shadow members of the site team.

The school estate includes state of the art main school building, satellite sixth form centre within the local High School and a Charity Shop down in the town centre. The school also operates a fleet of 3 mini buses and one car which we expect you to support with. A clean driving licence is required.

The school has excellent facilities including a Hydro Therapy Pool.  As Assistant Site Manager, you will be expected to support in the running and operation of this. Therefore, you will be required to undertake the necessary pool handling and operation training (if you don’t already have it).

As an all-year round contract, Holiday working will be required.
