Administrator – Additional Learning Support

Hours of work: 37 hours per week,
Salary: £19,100 – £19,279
Location: College Wide, across Wakefield and Castleford campuses
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Administrator to join our Additional Learning Support team. As an Administrator, you will provide a professional, efficient and excellent customer focused administration service to the area of Additional Learning Support (ALS).
This role will involve dealing with enquiries from internal and external parties, taking minutes at meetings, creating and maintaining files for all learners applying to access the ALS Service.
As an Administrator, you should:
- Have GCSE A*- C / 9 – 4 in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent
- Hold a full Level 2 qualification in an administration, customer service or business related subject or have 5 GCSEs grade A* – C or equivalent (NVQ Level 2, BTEC First Diploma etc)=
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Experience in a customer service role
- Experience of taking meeting minutes and word processing into appropriate formal formats to a high quality standard
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to actively listen and communicate effectively with all levels of staff
