This is a great opportunity for a school leaver to join our GAP Assistant Programme on a fixed term contract from 01/09/2022 to 05/07/2023. The role is aimed at individuals who are looking for an opportunity to become part of a creative, caring and nurturing school community. The successful candidates will spend a year working alongside teaching professionals. As a GAP Assistant at Dunhurst and Dunannie, you will be provided with the tools to develop your skills and experiences, both personally and professionally, as you immerse yourself fully in school life as a member of the staff team.

Experience & Background

The successful candidate will support the everyday running of the school and follow a busy and diverse timetable assisting teachers in class, on the games field, on school trips, in the boarding houses and supervising break times.

Duties

The role of GAP Assistant at Dunhurst and Dunannie is far from routine with no two days being the same. In order to be successful in this post you will need to:

Hours of Work

The hours of work will be 40 hours per week. Ideally, successful candidates will be resident at the school and fulfil a boarding supervision role with the boarding team.

This post is Regulated Activity.

Salary

£10,194 annual salary based on the above hours and weeks of work which is pro-rata of the full time equivalent salary of £13,319 per annum.
