An
exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and inspirational English teacher
to join our Ripley family as Assistant Subject Leader for English with
responsibility for KS4. As the largest
secondary school in Lancashire this is an opportunity to shape the education
and lives of hundreds of children in our area. We take literacy and reading
very seriously at Ripley; we are looking for someone who is as passionate as we
are about these important areas and who will bring energy and enthusiasm to
champion this cause.

The
successful candidate will either be an experienced Teacher of English already
in a leadership role, or an exceptional teacher looking for promotion. At Ripley and across our wider MAT, The Bay
Learning Trust, we take CPD and career development seriously. There may be
opportunities for further whole school leadership development experience once
established in this role.
